1. Tooth decay or damaged. This is a very common reason for tooth extraction.
2. Crowded mouth – Dentists extract teeth in order to align the teeth in your mouth because
either your teeth are too big, or jaw/mouth is too small. This can cause some teeth to not
erupt causing constant pain and crowdedness.
3. Infection – This can happen when there is tooth decay which can spread to the pulp (center of tooth with nerves and blood vessels). The bacteria in the mouth can enter the pulp which will cause infection. Before this gets worse you will need a tooth extraction.
